A REAL Housewife New Year's Eve!

Okay, so Mike and I are getting ready to go out and party like rock stars! I can't wait to be out at the clubs until 3 AM just gettin' on my drunk! Let's hope we actually make it home this year!

Pea-lafels & Shame

I have to admit something, and it's something I'm not very proud of. I pride myself on always being the best person I can be. But sometimes we all slip up. We all make mistakes. Sometimes we just let things get the better of us and do something in the moment that we know we will regret later. I know that I should have thought about my husband before I did this, and I can only hope that he'll understand why I did what I did and that he can look past it and love me for the person that I am.

Pasta and disappointment.

So, I need to get something off my chest. I can't believe that no one wants to join me on this cleanse! Does it scare you? Or is no one willing to commit before NYE has come and gone? :) Well I hope that some of you decided to take me up on this challenge, it makes it fun when you have people to go through something with you. But alas, I will do it on my own, as I have a few times before. Poor Michael will have to deal with a grumpy housewife!

New Name: The Real FAT Housewife of Snohomish County

Okay, let's be honest, we are all friends here...right? Well let me just say...Momma has gained some weight! It's hard NOT to do during the holiday season when there are all these goodies around and delicious meals that you share with family and friends! And let us not forget the trip Michael and I made to London and Paris where we ate and drank like it was our job!

It's a REAL Housewife Christmas!

Well boys and girls...in my house, Christmas has come and gone. I had not one, but two Christmas dinners (the same meal that I cooked twice) and today Michael and I celebrated our own Christmas since he works tomorrow. The joys of having a husband who works any day of the year :) But hey...it pays the bills! And then some!

Christmas came early!

So Christmas came early here for The REAL Housewife of Snohomish County. Well Christmas dinner did, that is! Today was the big day, the day I'd been dreading for months. I had to cook for my in-laws. Any of you who have in-laws KNOW that the first meal you cook for them is always one that is full of stress and unease and just plain ol' doubt!

Jam and Nephews!

Okay, so the last few days things haven't slowed down at all! I've made two batches of Jalapeno Jelly in prep for Christmas gifts! My eyes were watering from the chopped jalapenos and I resisted at ALL costs rubbing my eyes or face! Lord knows I didn't need to deal with THAT on top of everything else! :)

Christmas Prep and Punishments

Well I've not been any better about blogging! I'm putting myself in a time out! The good thing about the time outs here at the The Real Housewife of Snohomish County's abode is that bacardi and coke is allowed! :) YAY! Sounds like I'll be in a long time out...or is that pass out. Either way...I'll be out!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Okay, so I have to say that Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. And no I'm not singing another song! I really do love Christmas, but not because of gifts...to be totally honest getting gifts at any time of the year makes me uncomfortable. I'm not a good gift buyer so I get awkward when I get a gift because I know that I'll never be able to return such a good gift. This year as gifts for my friends I decided to make and send them Apple Butter, Pear Butter, Jalapeno Jelly and Kiwi Jam.

World AIDS Day...

I've been going back and forth on whether or not I wanted to share this blog post. But I realized that in order to be The REAL Housewife of Snohomish County I need to share some rather personal things so I not only seem amazing and glamorous all the time, but also REAL. This post is about as real as it gets. AIDS is something that has touched almost everyone in some way, shape or form. And I don't think that we are doing enough to raise awareness fully. This blog post is actually a journal entry from the first year that I moved here from Honolulu, that was entitled, "Shaken to the Core."
