Day 1: The REAL Housewife of Snohomish County takes the REAL Canada!

Well let me say that today has been one helluva busy day! Holy hell! We woke up around 5:45 AM and I showered to get my day started. We then started the process of getting the dogs up and at 'em, fed, and taken out to do their business. We also got ourselves ready and left the house by 7:45. Very rarely are we able to keep the dogs in the dark about what was happening. But we didn't pull out our suitcases or move their kennel until they were outside. Cooper always manages to know when we are leaving and he mopes around the house like we are abandoning him.

It's Officially Over!!!!

The 9 Day Cleanse is OVER!!!! I can not tell you how happy I am that it is over. I've missed breads, meats and all things good! :) But I have to say that it was a success! Over the last 9 days I dropped 9.5 lbs! :) I have a few more to go so I am starting the nutrition plan from the Insanity Program and will attempt to keep my caloric intake down...attempt that is.

Operations G.M.A.I.S. - Day 4

Okay...so, I haven't updated the last few days and I have a really good excuse. I've been trying NOT to eat my computer! Lord I've been so hungry the last few days, but I know that it's all for good reason! Operation G.M.A.I.S. is 4 days in and I'm actually feeling pretty good. Oh, I suppose you'd like to know what that means. Get My Ass In Shape! :)

I'm Back! And I've got an AMAZING Kitchen!!!!

Okay, so I know that it's been forever and a day since I last posted on my blog, but I have a good reason. I moved! Seriously, if you've moved before you know what I was going through! We've finally finished all the tasks we need to in order to move in and get our condo ready for rental! So now we can tend to the day to day workings of a new house and get back to some semblance of a normal life! Whatever that may be!!

Time goes by...so slowy..

Okay...this time I'm going to have to disagree with Madonna! Time is flying by the last few weeks! It seems like only yesterday that we put in the offer on our house. One week from today we are suppose to close! It seems like we were super busy the first week, then had some down time before inspection and then it was busy again. And the last few weeks have been pretty quiet. But it was honestly, the quiet before the storm.

And the Lowes saga continues...

Well, this whole thing with Lowes has definitely been a thorn in my side. After writing my blog I still hadn't heard from them so I sent an email to the Customer Service department and included a link to my blog. I didn't know if they'd read the blog, but I was appreciative of everyone who took the time to read it and comment about their experiences with Lowes as well!

If there's a God in Heaven...

...He will see to it that Lowes dies as a company! I swear to God that I'm done with Lowes! The last few days have been nothing but a pain in my royal ass! Let's back up a bit and start at the beginning. So it was a warm day in June of 1980 and the world was getting ready to welcome it's most famous housewife ever, Brian. :) Just kidding, let's not go back THAT far!

Real Housewife of Snohomish County...moving???

Okay...so I've been VERY non-existent the last few weeks. This year has proved to be one that has thrown a lot in the way of me and my family. But just like we always have done, we've come out the other side stronger and ready to face what the world has to throw our way!

Here I sit at Sea-Tac International Airport waiting for a 6:22 AM flight to Houston where I'll be connecting to a flight this afternoon to Harlingen, TX. This is my first time to Texas and I wish that it was for a reason other than what it's for. On Sunday night, my sweet grandma passed away.

Superbowl Madness!!!!

I can't even begin to explain how crazy it is around here today! I've waited for this day for a LONG time! And I can't believe that it's finally here! It's the SUPERBOWL!!! Michael and I have been preparing all day, and have been counting down the minutes until the most exciting moment of the day...

Every Housewife Needs to Work...

That's right, I've said it. And I'm finally back at a point, after some conversations, where I think it's time for me to yet again, get a job. So I've taken the first step and accepted a side project with a friend's company to do some organizational work with their filing systems. This is something that I did for a couple of the other companies I've worked for and it's time to put these skills to good use.
