I'm sure you are like, what the hell is that list of words??? Well, dear readers, that is what the last few days have been filled with! We've been staying pretty busy. Mike was on backup but luckily didn't get called in so we've had some good QT the past few days!

Ooooo! Look at my kitchen!

Okay, so you know I LOVE my kitchen! You know that I love getting new appliances and new cookware as well. Well, I can't even begin to tell you how MUCH I love my new Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware! They look SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good hanging on the pot rack!

Upgrades are coming! :)

Life is all about upgrades and in the past year my life has been full of them. Change can be scary, but I've learned to embrace everything that has come my way!

Not even two months...

It's hard to believe that it hasn't even been two months since I started this blog and as of this moment, I've had 997 page views! And to be quite honest, that is 997 more page views than I EVER thought I'd have! :) So I thank all of you who take the time to read my sometimes daily ramblings!

No desire...

I'm not sure what's going on...but I'm in a bit of a funk. I know it's bad because I have no desire to pick up my favorite chef's knife, open my Anne Burrell cookbook, wipe down Wanda, open the pantry to see what I could possibly throw together for dinner...and better yet, I really have no desire to even eat.

Operation Doggie Freedom.

Okay, so here I sit, a bit miffed at something that I know was only meant as constructive criticism, but it felt almost like an attack. Why is it that pet owners or even parents for that matter get so agitated when someone questions the way they are raising their pets/children, respectively?

Busy...Busy...okay...I'm a liar.

So, I haven't blogged for a few days, and I wish it was because I've been super busy. But the truth is I was enjoying the down time I've had the past few days. Mike and I have been lounging around, and just enjoying the quiet.

A day late...on purpose.

Yesterday was National Coming Out Day, and I purposefully missed it. All across Internet there were people wishing each other well on the day and encouraging others to come out as well. I for one did not wish anyone well, or even recognize the day in any sort of way...and let me tell you why.

Sore neck and a new video!

So somehow I tweaked my neck the other day and I'm not sure how. But I woke up yesterday morning with limited mobility and a pain just to the right of my left shoulder blade. In essence...I was in pain!

Music is my rock.

I can't even being to tell you how much music has meant to me ever since I was a child. I've always felt like no matter what, I could turn to music and I could always find a song that fit the mood I was in or to nail the feelings that were coursing through my body.

Time flies...

...when you find a man who loves you and accepts you for who you are. Today is one year to the day that I met the man who has loved me more than anyone else has.

A, B, C's of Love...

This weekend is our one year anniversary. I can't help but think of the Kids in The Hall skit where Buddy Cole says, "We were together 6 months. Which in heterosexual terms is 3 reincarnations with the same mate."

Boy's night in.

That's right, it's a Boy's Night In! Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Oh the stories I could tell you from tonight, but I'll have to change names to protect the guilty! :-P Just kidding. The highlight of my night was opening the 2nd big bottle of Bacardi!

Work and Worry.

These are two things that consumed my day. For the past week and a half, the Puck man has not been feeling too good. Every time we go for a walk he's lagging behind, when he used to be right by my side tail wagging and ears perked up.

Back to Basics!

Today I found myself being excited about making something that is very basic in the life of any chef or home cook, making chicken stock. Now I know you are thinking, "Brian, this isn't simple! Simple is going to the store and buying the box or can of chicken stock!"

So, the life of a housewife is ever changing and a good housewife can roll with it! I am one of those housewives that can have a dinner planned out and have everything go to shit and pull something out of my @$$ and still have dinner on the table at the right time!
