Well, here I am! I'm getting back into the swing of my day to day life, already!
I've done three loads of laundry, went grocery shopping (at three stores), made lunch (spaghetti with meatballs and a homemade sauce),
took that to Mike for his lunch, came home got the boys ready and took them to Petco to get groomed, and now I'm at home and repotted a big palm plant and am working on dinner.
Tonight we are having French Onion Soup with Ham and Mortadella Sandwiches with Provolone and Pickled Hot Pepper Relish and for dessert some Pignoli Cookies. How I love Anne Burrell!!! :) Right now the peppers are off the grill and in bowls covered with plastic wrap sweating away so their skins come off!
I can't wait to eat tonight! After this week of having other people cook it's so nice to be back in my kitchen and cooking the way I like! I have a busy rest of my afternoon, and tomorrow is proving to be even busier.
I so enjoyed my vacation, but it's sooooo nice to be home! Some of those people on the cruise I can't believe were let out of the cages I'm sure they occupy where ever they are from! Sheesh! But I digress!
