Pea-lafels & Shame

I have to admit something, and it's something I'm not very proud of. I pride myself on always being the best person I can be. But sometimes we all slip up. We all make mistakes. Sometimes we just let things get the better of us and do something in the moment that we know we will regret later. I know that I should have thought about my husband before I did this, and I can only hope that he'll understand why I did what I did and that he can look past it and love me for the person that I am.

I...um...well I spent all morning on the couch watching Jersey Shore from when they were in Italy. There. I said it. It feels good to get that off my chest. I've texted Michael and asked him to have the cable disconnected immediately, but for some reason he didn't think that we needed to take that drastic of a step. I'm actually going to my first meeting JSA (Jersey Shore Anonymous) later today. I can only ask for support from all of my faithful readers. And I ask that you not judge me, we all make mistakes. :)

Okay, seriously though, come on! I've never watched this show and prided myself on that fact! I'm not really sure what came over me. I blame this on Michael. He had to leave for work at 6:30 this morning so I crawled onto the couch and turned on the TV. There is NOTHING on at that time of the morning. And I stopped the guide at MTV and saw an ad for the new season of The Jersey Shore and heard Snooki say, "I don't speak clock language. When people say it's quarter after 2, why don't they just say it's 2:30!" I could NOT stop laughing. Well they are having a Jersey Shore marathon and it's on when they were in Italy. I have been on the couch since Mike left for work. This stuff is comedy gold. Now I see why Kathy Griffin makes fun of this show!

But I swear to God, that by the end of the day I WILL have a Snooki *poof* in my hair and will be fist pumping tonight at country dancing. This shit just gets into your system and you can not get rid of it. But even knowing all this, I'm still on the couch watching more episodes. I got it bad man...real bad!

So yesterday I sent a text to Mike asking what he wanted for dinner. He said he wanted something light. So I decided to make Pea-lafels! This is such a yummy and quick meal to make. It is seriously one of my go to meals that I can just whip up in no time. Well I wanted to make a double recipe, so I thought I would record another video while making the first batch. I know all of you out there (all 28 of you who watched my first video on how to make chicken stock) have been yearning for another video. So here it is! I hope you all enjoy it!

Well kids, I have to get back to my show. But I just wanted to share the new video link with you. I hope you enjoy it and try to make it so you can see how yummy it really is!! :) By the way, here is the link to the recipe.  Aarti's Fried Pea and Mint Patties.
